This is my favorite and this blog uses WordPress. You should use WordPress as a hosting platform. This is the number one platform for hosting sites and currently powering more than 25% sites globally.

Although you can go to wordpress.org, download it and install it on your hosting, there is no need for it. Almost all hosting providers provide WordPress. Before subscribing to any hosting provider ensure that they provide WordPress support.

Bluehost 

This is my favorite hosting provider. Installing WordPress on your site and as easy as signing up for an email account. You can install WordPress in a few clicks on your site. They even do some basic optimization for your site. For example, you won’t have default permalink and the site will show a “coming soon” page until you make your site live a click. 

Thrive Theme Builder

I am using the Thrive Theme Builder on this blog. This is one of the most popular themes. You can never go wrong with this choice.
